I have come to believe that Human-Centered Design is a skill that anyone can practice. There will always be experts who have deep knowledge and expertise and who continue to move the practice forward, but, in my opinion, everyone can do it and everyone should do it. If you work in HR, it's how you know if your employees are satisfied and how you can keep them satisfied. If you are an engineer, it's how you always know if you're on track to creating something that will be used effectively. If you work in sales, it's how you get to know your customers better. Marketing, accounting, every job function can benefit.
I want to empower people at organizations to become everyday innovators who always know what people want and how to deliver it. I want to make myself obsolete in your organization because everyone is thinking and acting in a HCD way.
